Methenolone Enanthate

DHT-derived AAS with low androgenic profile; non-aromatizable

Evidence: 12 articles
Goals: 1

Mechanism of Action

Methenolone is a DHT derivative with 1-methyl and 2-oxo modifications, making it a non-aromatizable compound with one of the lowest androgenic profiles among AAS. The 1-methyl group reduces hepatic metabolism, enabling oral bioavailability (as methenolone acetate). The enanthate ester provides sustained intramuscular release. Methenolone binds AR with moderate affinity but exhibits high anabolic selectivity with minimal androgenic, estrogenic, or progestogenic activity. It does not cause water retention and has minimal impact on blood pressure, making it studied for lean tissue preservation.
