Enobosarm (Ostarine / MK-2866)
Non-steroidal SARM with tissue-selective anabolic activity
Mechanism of Action
Enobosarm (MK-2866) is a non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that binds the androgen receptor with high affinity and tissue selectivity. Unlike steroidal androgens, enobosarm does not require 5-alpha reduction and does not aromatize to estrogen. It functions as a full agonist at AR in skeletal muscle and bone, promoting anabolic effects (increased lean body mass, bone mineral density), while acting as a partial agonist or antagonist in androgenic tissues (prostate, sebaceous glands), resulting in reduced androgenic side effects. Clinical Phase II trials have demonstrated dose-dependent increases in lean body mass in cancer cachexia and elderly sarcopenia populations.

(8)Enobosarm (Ostarine / MK-2866): Evidence-Based Research Review
**Class:** SARM (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator)
Andarine vs Ostarine: Evidence-Based Comparison
Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) were developed to provide the anabolic benefits of traditional steroids—such as increased muscle mass and bone density—while minimizing androgenic side effects like prostate enlargement and hair loss. Among the most researched SARMs are Andarine (S-4) a
Cardarine vs Ostarine: Evidence-Based Comparison
Cardarine (GW-501516) and Ostarine (MK-2866/Enobosarm) are two distinct chemical compounds frequently discussed in the contexts of metabolic research, sports science, and clinical muscle wasting. While they are often marketed together in the "SARM" (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator) category, t
Ostarine vs Ligandrol: Evidence-Based Comparison
Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) represent a class of therapeutic compounds designed to elicit the anabolic benefits of traditional androgenic anabolic steroids (AAS) while minimizing adverse effects on non-target tissues (e.g., prostate and sebaceous glands). Enobosarm (Ostarine/MK-28
Ostarine vs RAD-140: Evidence-Based Comparison
Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) were developed to provide the anabolic benefits of traditional androgenic-anabolic steroids (AAS) while minimizing detrimental effects on the prostate, skin, and hair. Enobosarm (Ostarine) and Testolone (RAD-140) represent two of the most researched com
YK-11: Evidence-Based Research Review
YK-11 (17α,20E)-17,20-[(1-methoxyethylidene)bis(oxy)]-3-oxo-19-norpregna-4,20-diene-21-carboxylic acid methyl ester is a synthetic compound classified as a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM). Unlike traditional non-steroidal SARMs such as Ostarine or Ligandrol, YK-11 possesses a steroidal
Testolone (RAD-140): Evidence-Based Research Review
Testolone (RAD-140) is a potent, non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) originally developed by Radius Health, Inc. It was designed to overcome the limitations of conventional androgen therapy, such as prostate enlargement and virilization, by exhibiting high tissue selectivity.
Andarine (S-4): Evidence-Based Research Review
Andarine (also known as S-4 or GTx-007) is an early-generation, nonsteroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) belonging to the aryl propionamide class. Developed initially for the treatment of conditions such as muscle wasting and osteoporosis, Andarine demonstrates high affinity for the
